YOUTH WE SERVE
Are you a youth age 14-23?
Are you looking for resources, advice, friendship? Safe Homes is dedicated to supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth who need a safe and welcoming place.
Young people come to Safe Homes from Worcester and surrounding towns. Some are in high school or college, and some have jobs or attend work-training programs. Though we all come from different experiences and backgrounds, we are united in our support of one another.
Why do youth come to Safe Homes?
For support and advocacy around LGBTQ issues
For encouragement and advice from adult advisors
To make friends and meet other members of the LGBTQ community
To participate in fun and educational activities that promote healthy choices
For free counseling from licensed counselors
To gain access to community resources
To participate in the Peer Leadership program
We always welcome new faces, and hope to see you soon!
